Dry Bones; Ezek. 37?

Question: What is the meaning of the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37?

They are the slain of the “whole” house of Israel vs. 9–11.

They are from the “open graves” v.12.

God will re-join Judah and Ephraim and make them one nation, vs.15–20.

God will gather the Jews from among the nations and place them in Israel, vs. 21–22.  (This has already started, but has much farther to go)!

God/Jesus will cleanse them from their sins and Idolatry, and He will be their God, and they shall be His people (Ammi) v. 23.

“Great David's Greater Son Matt.1:1,” (Jesus) shall be their “Prince” forever vs. 24–25.

The Jews thought of King David as the greatest king of Israel.  The Jewish expectation of the Messiah was/is that he would be a descendant of King David.
